iOS Update?

Hello, I was wondering if there was a set date for an iOS update? Thank you!

No. We do not announce release dates. – Katherine

I fully understand that Katherine. Recently I’ve bought an iPad Pro and I’m basically using this device for almost everything now. And of course I’m considering migrating my use of Scrivener from my MacBook Pro to my iPad Pro.

But when I see that the Scrivener iOS app hasn’t been updated since December 2017 (almost 2 years) I’m just wondering if the app is still been developed…

Yes, iOS Scrivener is still being developed. It has taken a back seat to the Mac and Windows versions recently, that’s all.

Katherine

It’s sad that it has taken a back seat.

Thankfully it still works well and is still better for my personal use case than Ulysses etc but I do hope it will take a higher priority soon.

There are a lot of us who use this as our primary writing software and platform and I for one would love to see things such as custom styles fixed and better word counts / targets.

Can you be a little more specific.

You haven’t updated the iOS operating system since buying? What version are you on?

What are you trying to do when you get the iTunes Synch issue?

iOS Scrivener version 1.2 is now live in the iTunes store.

Among other things, it includes an important fix for iOS 13 compatibility: please install the Scrivener update before installing iOS 13 on your device.

Katherine

Though, as I noted in another post (new thread in this topic), this latest Scrivener update isn’t fully working with iOS 13: it crashes out when attempting to sync via Dropbox.

The new version of 1.2 doesn’t work with IOS 13 like related in other posts’Bug Hunt.
