Is copyholder disabled when pane is locked in place?

I locked in place a pane. Can’t open a copyholder on it without unlocking. Is this intended?

Yes, you need to describe in much more detail what you are trying to do, as there are multiple ways of doing the things you describe:

  1. With the cursor in the starter document of a blank project, use Navigate ▸ Editor ▸ Lock in Place.
  2. Navigate ▸ Open ▸ in Copyholder to load the current document. It opens on the right by default.
  3. View ▸ Editor Layout ▸ Split Horizontally
  4. Move focus to the newly opened split.
  5. Navigate ▸ Editor ▸ Lock in Place
  6. Navigate ▸ Open ▸ in Copyholder. As before it opens on the right. I now have four panes showing the same document.
