My Dell is slowly dying and a Mac is in my future - I have backed up my writing and curious as how easy it will be to get them back into the Scrivener app for editing? Backed up from Scrivener on a Windows and adding to Scrivener on a Mac?
Very easy as far as Scrivener is concerned, just open them. (Of course: Unpack the backups first if zipped.)

If you can, don’t dispose of the old computer until you’ve confirmed that the projects open successfully. (Which they should, but best to be sure.)
