Is it possible to customize the compiled meta data for custom tags?

Hi,

Is it possible to customize the compiled meta data for custom tags?

For example, I created a custom Meta Tag of “Lore Revealed”. Compiled with:
<$custom:Lore Revealed>

In the editor, I set the color to yellow, which doesn’t seem to carry over to compiling.

I have my own compile formatting I’ve designed. Within it as a suffix, I include my <$custom:Lore Revealed> tag. In the compile formatter, I tried to change the text color to yellow, which appears to work; however, when I save it reverts back to black text.

In the Global Compile Overview, I also DO NOT have “Remove Text Color” checked.

Is there a way to have my Meta Data text colored when I compile? I’d like to have each custom meta tag a different color if possible.

Thanks

First, look at this post related to creating a metadata dropdown, where you might have a robot/traffic light type icon, instead of specific text colour: List question - #6 by MimeticMouton – so your custom metadata item might be Lore with two or more options.

It may be a way of getting past why your text reverts to black because you appear to have made the right Compile > Options > Remove text color (untick) choice.

Are spaces allowed in Placeholder for Custom Metadata?

Why can’t you give the Placeholder text a Style?
