Is the licence a one-time-payment only?

Hi!

I’ve been looking for the answer but I couldn’t find anything too conclusive. I want to purchase the software, but I wanted to know if this is a one-time-only purchase or do I have to pay every year? I’m aware that in order to get the newest version you do have to pay for that one, but it’s still unclear for me how often will I have to pay.

Yes, one-time payment.

Major releases (the next will be 4.0) carry an upgrade fee, minor releases (3.x) are free to existing license holders.
