Is there a way to import styles from Word?

I have a document in Word that uses different heading styles for Chapters and Scenes. Is there a simple way to import this into Scrivener, so that the scenes and chapters are imported as different documents/folders?

Thanks in advance!

There is no stylesheet interpretation, but if you’ve got something easy you can search for, like the word “Chapter”, you can make pretty quick work of this with Find Next and the Split tool in the Documents menu. You can then split scenes out as necessary.

Don’t know if this is a known bug, but I thought I’d mention it just in case.

I’ve been splitting my document as amberv suggests above. It’s quite large - 95,000 words. When I split a chapter, and then navigate to the new one, the programme crashes every single time. I’ve found the workaround is to save immediately after doing a split, and then everything’s okay. I’ve never had a problem splitting documents before, so I suspect this is either because of the size of the file, or due to the fact that it does still contain some MS Word ‘outline’ numbering.
