Is there a workaround for the underlining bug?

I am having the trouble with the underlining bug described [url]https://forum.literatureandlatte.com/t/underline-and-ungroup/12687/3] and [url]https://forum.literatureandlatte.com/t/saving-bug-underlines-extend-to-whole-line/12347/2].

Sometimes I just want to underline the first line in a document but when I navigate away and come back to the document all the text becomes underlined. I can remove the underlining but, yet again, when I navigate away and come back the text is all underlined again.

I can see that this problem has already been logged but is there someway to reset the formatting for a text file in the meantime? I"m finding having whole swathes of text underlined rather distracting.

highlight that string of text with a specific color that you know means underlined.

Thanks Meleesa, but the problem is that a end up with whole paragraphs of underlining and am trying to get rid of it.
