Is this a bug? Word count in target windows discrepancy

Edit: Oops, for some reason, I did not have the page I was working on as “include in compile,” and my target settings stated to ignore anything, not in the compile. So, I answered my question.

Why is it recording my word count but not showing it in the targets menu when I call it up?

At beach but in word count under project statistics and looking at what you are counting- ie compiled docs. Make sure what you want to count fits criteria. Counts words in every document whether or not in project stats
