Keep With Next breaks next list line

Amber,

Thanks again for solving the main issue here: everything with speed is working just… perfectly!

I’m still getting list oddities. Like this:

Applying ‘No Style’ etc and stripping out don’t work at all.

The bullets, indenting and macros (?) keep coming back after a (very quick! ) save.

Is there by any chance a workaround until this anomaly is fixed in an upcoming version, please?

TIA…

As you have guessed, this looks very similar to the style & bullet bug. But I’ll leave this thread separate instead of merging it there, for anyone else that is searching for KWN codes. I’ll add a note to the bug report, stating that this bug can cause those codes to appear as text.

There is no workaround for this, other than not positioning lists and styled text directly adjacent to one another.

Thanks as always!

Understood. It must be very frustrating for you as well :frowning: .

Which in this case is a Heading 1, doesn’t it?

So if I wanted a list below a heading, maybe a (by default) hidden single space between the Heading 1 and the list?

I have copied these into BBEdit and stripped every tab and built out several times. But the save seems to clobber the formatting once it’s pasted back into Scrivener.

I don’t think that the name of the style would have an impact on whether the KeepWithNext code shows up, if that’s what you mean. A particular style might insert that formatting though, sure, but that would be the only point of relation.
