I would dearly love to be able to open the synopsis of an index card in the other editor (in dual pane mode) with a keyboard shortcut. I find this very useful when importing documents that I snip up into files for editing, and have to fill out the synopsis from the contents of each file before I can effectively shuffle them around.
This should have a keyboard shortcut now, try Ctrl-Alt-Return. Ctrl-Shift-Return will open it in the same editor.
