Please let me know whether it’s possible to import keywords from one project to another (and if so how), or are keywords project-specific?

They are project-specific, but what are you trying to achieve? If you have a set of keywords that you use for many projects, you could create a project template containing those keywords and create new projects from that template. If you tell us more about what you are trying to do, we may be able to find a solution that works for you.
