Language/dictionary warning on startup[ADDITIONAL INFO]

When I start up Scrivener, I get a warning “Error loading dictionary. No word lists can be found for the language es_ES” .

I’m using the following:

Scrivener beta for Windows
Windows 7 (Spanish) via VMWare Fusion 3.1.1
MacBook Pro 15" 2010
Snow Leopard 10.6.4

I have the same problem, in my case - because that’s my default setting in Windows XP - it is the language de_DE. I get the the warning two times in a row after opening a project.

Have either of you updated to the latest builds? In the Bug Hunt forum, you’ll find announcements from the developer with instructions on updating the beta (it’s up to 3 now), as well as semi-daily updates on the state of the software—known bugs—what is being worked on, etc.

The bug you mentioned was fixed quite some time ago, unless you are running beta 3, then this is potentially a new problem.

Updated this morning to beta 3. Still get same bug on opening Scrivener itself or a different project once open.

Thanks; good to know it is still lurking then!

This should only happen once after upgrading - the warning message that is. Then you should not receive it again?
