I was able to cause this bug with the Tutorial (so it should be easy to duplicate). At the ‘Start Here’ entry in the binder, I opened Start Here in the Editor. I put my cursor at the H of ‘How to use this Editorial’ and split the doc. Now I had two entries in the Binder, Start Here and Start Here -1. I then selected both and from the tool bar selected Document->Merge. The program ended and had to be restarted.

We believe merging splitting document with list items causes the crash. Hope to fix this in the next release.
