So, loosely three weeks ago, I lost access to scrivener. I went to use it one day, and it claimed my trial had expired, and that I didn’t have a license. I tried getting in touch with the tech support email, but they claim not to have a record of my purchase.
Not to mention I’ve been waiting 3 damn weeks to get to my work… as you can imagine this has been an infuriating issue.
I purchased a license back in January. Any and all help is appreciated. Thanks in advance, sorry if I’m in the wrong place on the forum.
PS, Yes I tried the automatic License re-sender tool. It didn’t work.
The same thing has happened to me! My email has mysteriously disappeared.
I bought the software a few years ago, and now it’s telling me to add the license number or start on trial mode.
I’m afraid it’s not possible to address license issues through the forum.
If Tech Support can’t find your purchase record, you can help by providing the email address you used, a copy of your receipt, or other information to help us verify your purchase. I’m sure you understand that we can’t simply issue refunds or new licenses without some sort of documentation.
Over the last two months or so, I’ve contacted L&L support for a number of different issues, and they always got back to me. Almost immediately they send an auto-response, then in a couple of days a team member contacted me.
So odds are that L&L Support did get back to you, but their mail ended up in your spam folder. Apparently this happens all the time, judging by other posters who thought the same as you but then found the L&L emails had gone to spam.
If it were me, I’d submit another support ticket and closely monitor my spam folder.
L&L’s emails will come from the @tenderapp.com domain. Perhaps there’s a way for you to whitelist that in your email app.
I checked our queue. @Shadow appears to have located and responded to our response since posting this.
For anyone reading the thread, support queries should get an automated response in a matter of minutes. If you don’t see that, then most likely either it’s in your spam folder or your query came from (and our reply went to) a different email address than you thought.
