I am very new to Scrivener and excited to use it. But I am already facing a little problem.
I used a free trial to test the software, and then decided to purchase it. Everything went well, I installed it and it opened okay. But the e-mail sent when I purchased it told that I was supposed to be asked for my license number, and it hasn’t been the case.
Is that a problem or could it lead to one ?
English isn’t my first language, so please excuse any mistakes.
If you purchased your license from within Scrivener, then it may have already activated the license for you. You can check within Scrivener to confirm that it is licensed.
If you’re using a Mac, you can go to the Scrivener menu and click on it. The fifth item in that menu will be “Deactivate Scrivener” if your license was already entered.
On a Windows PC, you can go to Scrivener’s Help menu and click on it. The 13th item in that menu will be “Deactivate Scrivener” if your license was already entered.
