Line break in a certain context causes Scrivener to freeze

The following text causes Scrivner to freeze. I have added some markup to make the construction clear. I’m not sure if the LINEBREAK is in the CAPTION or after it. This can’t be seen in Scrivner.

The cuprit is the combination of LINEBREAK and PAGEBREAK. Changing the LINEBREAK to a return fixes the problem. Or removing the PAGEBREAK. Otherwise Scrivner freezes and has to be killed.

Just in case, I would try Edit > Text Tidying > Zap Gremlins on this document to see if that helps.

At least in this rendition, you have a typo in “LINEBREAK.”

If that’s not it, exactly where is Scrivener freezing? In the Compile command? What format are you compiling to?
