I just started using Scriveners trial version. I see that it is very slowly loading in comparison fo for example Word. Is this normal?
I have Windows 11, rather fast computer, Scrivener 3 .
Maybe it can operate faster, I hope so.

Time is relative. How long is long? What’s the word count between the Word document and the Scrivener project? How many words are your Scrivener documents?
I’m writing a novel that’s currently at about 60,000 words. On first launch, it takes 20 seconds. On subsequent launches during the same session, 5 seconds.
