Losing formatting from IOS to Windows

After writing in Scrivenr IOS, syncing in Dropbox, then exiting Scrivener for IOS, I open my project in Scrivener Windows version.
The formatting is lost.
Any way to seamlessly retain the formatting from one version to the other?
