For unknown reasons, when I started up my project this morning, the document/chapter I had written the day before had, well … poof! … disappeared. There were no error messages prior to this indicating that Scrivener didn’t save when I closed the program. Is there a way to retrieve it? If not, this makes me a bit apprehensive, as I don’t want to start any new projects if there’s a good chance they won’t save automatically.
Have you tried searching for the text you wrote yesterday, yet? Just put in a phrase or some nouns that you know you used into the toolbar search at the top of the window and see if anything pops up on the left side.
