Lost some work when Dropbox synced older files from mobile

Posting to this subforum since it seemed more applicable.

Did some work on my laptop while it wasn’t connected to the internet, and then went to the iOS app, which synced my older files to Dropbox, and has seemingly deleted all the work I did on my laptop since it synced up. Are there older, temporary copies of my files that I can get to that might have the work still on it? Thanks!

Have you told Dropbox to keep all Scrivener project files “Available offline” or whatever wording they use in Preferences (I don’t use Dropbox)?

Check Scrivener’s automatic backups, which you can find by going to Scrivener → Settings → Backups.
