Hi, I was wondering if anyone could help me. I had been writing all morning and then for some reason my text disappeared. In that moment I had accidentally clicked on another file and when I went back I could not undo anything and my text seems to be lost. Clearly this is very frustrating. Is there any way I can get my text back?
If you had auto-save turned on (check the General pane in Preferences), then perhaps you can recover whatever was last saved. In the Finder, ctrl-click your Scrivener project and choose “Show Package Contents”. Auto-saved stuff is inside the Files folder. See Page 529 of the User Manual.
Thank you, but I tried that already. The software did an autosave. It seems really silly that if you click on another file and then go back to the previous one you can’t undo anything anymore.
