The fact I can install Scrivener on my significant other’s macbook for proof-reading purposes and I’m not doing anything wrong.

Same household, single licence. That’s unbelievably charitable of you Keith because, you know…? I would have happily paid twice.

Now if only dropbox supported three-way folders…

Side note, I wonder if the app store Scrivener will support this? Is it even possible to share an app-store app between different itunes accounts?

That’s the basic idea. You can install an application you buy from the App Store on any computer that is currently authenticated by your iTunes account. Do note that this is not universally true, though. Some applications you buy are single-seat only, such as Apple’s Aperture. This is something the developer can set, so always read the fine print.

There shouldn’t be any problem with that, unless I misunderstand what you mean by three-way. You can have dozens of computers using the same Dropbox folder if you want.

What I was thinking off was the dropbox shared folder support - I’ve just noticed they have it.
