Hi guy’s, just a quick one.

I use the Mac version of Scrivener primarily since making the transition to Mac a while ago and I have downloaded the Windows version of Scrivener to have on my PC at work to do a bit of writing at lunch times.

I downloaded the most recent copy of my novel from a backup held in iCloud and tried to open it in Scrivener for Windows…several of my most recent chapters have been blown away and are completely blank, and a number of characters are missing from my character section in the binder.

Is this a normal occurrence when trying to transition from the Mac format to Windows?

I’m surprised there isn’t an iCloud advisory listed at the following link, but I don’t think iCloud is very reliable when trying to make it work with Scrivener. Try Dropbox, Cubby, or SpiderOak for a more reliable transfer method, but only after reading this:
