Making the page longer in Composition Mode?

Hello! I’ve figured out how to make the new composition mode screen width change, but I can’t figure out how to make it grow taller? Any ideas please? Mine looks like a squat box currently. In the last version I had it as a full-length, but narrow page style which I loved! Thanks for the help!

Hi,

It sounds as though you have accidentally held down the Option/Alt key while dragging the slider at some point. When you hold down Option/Alt, the “Page width” slider at the bottom of the screen changes to “Paper height”. So all you need to do is hold down Option/Alt so that the slider changes to “Paper height” and then push it all the way to the right.

Hope that helps.

All the best,
Keith

That’s great. The alt key sorted that one out. Thanks, Keith!

Another Composition Mode question.

When I used to go to Composition Mode it was back type on a white page. Now it is white type on a black page and I can’t find a way to change it to what I condier the normal look. Any advice?

Thank you.

Thank you very much.
I was able to change the font to black type.
But none of the opitons enabled me to get rid of what seems like a dark grey overlay dimming the screen. So it’s a very dark screen that’s hard to read.
When I preioulsy used it I remender it being a clean look, black on white.
