Minion pro regular endash space

The dash space (aka espace demi-cadratin) exists in the Minion font on other platforms (adobe etc) but defaults to other fonts in Scrivener.
For instance " — Mademoiselle…" when formatted in Minion in Scrivener the space defaults to Helvetica Neue (or another font, sometimes Lucinda,…). The em dash and regular letters are correctly in Minion.
Thank you for your help.

I’ve just tried that on my mac with Minion Pro and it doesn’t display that behavior. Is it only Minion it happens with? Does it do the same thing in TextEdit?
