Minor Full Screen Problem -- Bottom Option Bar disappears

I use both an Air and a Thunderbolt display, with the Thunderbolt having the menu bar (the primary display). I recently switched the monitors arrangement in the Display preferences. so that the Air (non primary) is below the Thunderbolt. It is now impossible to access the bar at the bottom of Full Screen display that has lots of options. It appears briefly when you enter Full Screen but then you can’t get it again.
I suspect that I can no longer hit what counts as the bottom edge to pop it up. Where full screen ends I just drop down to the Air display. I can’t get it from the bottom of the Air.

I JUST FOUND A WAY AROUND THIS – STILL POSTING IN CASE IT IS USEFUL TO ANYONE ELSE.

If I go to either side of the Thunderbolt, where it wider than the Air display I do find a bottom edge and can pop up the bar.

Thanks for posting a way around the problem. This is always going to be an issue where “slide-out” components rest along the edge of a display where the mouse can freely move between screens. You’ll have similar problems with the slide-out Binder/Inspector panels in 10.7 full screen mode (if you use that feature), or the sliding panel in composition mode along the bottom. Unfortunately there just isn’t a way around it short of abandoning the use of slide-out panels altogether.

Finding the wider/taller area where mouse movement is inhibited is the best solution, if it can be used (i.e. if the panel isn’t located on the smaller monitor, thus affording no “ledge” the mouse can hit against).
