I’m trying to make a shortcut for a Tidy function, but it’s not listed in the keyboard options. Any suggestions?
Specifically, Edit > Text Tidying > Remove Empty Lines Between Paragraphs is missing from the assignable keyboard shortcuts.
Thanks!

You’d need to setup a custom key combination of your choosing that (a) does not clash with an already setup combination in Scrivener, (b) alternatively reassign an existing Scrivener key combination that you would probably never use.
Also, your choice should never clash with Windows key combinations. The operating system would automatically take precedence over Scrivener choices.
I’m not at my computer. Suggest you open the user manual by pressing F1 in Scrivener and search the PDF for “custom keyboard shortcuts” or some such variation.
Thanks for the info! I double checked the user manual, but it only gives instructions for creating custom shortcuts for functions that are in the Options list. The one I’m after a shortcut for is not listed, sadly. There’s no function for me to assign the shortcut to.
Good thing the command is not one that would be used often, ie primarily before export
The Alt + e, t, r Acceleration keys?
That’s a great thought, but they appear not to be working correctly. Alt +e works, but d isn’t jumping to Text Tidying, and r is underlined for both Replace and Remove in the sub menu.
True, but I do a lot of writing on my Android phone that I later transfer into Scrivener. I’m using the command pretty frequently.
I was just guessing (!@PC), Alt+ e, d, r should have done it, if there were not two command with de D accelerator key in the same menu. This needs to be sorted out one day…
Four actually: Delete; Append Selection to Document; Link to Document; Text Tidying.
Pressing D a second time jumps from Delete to Append Selection to Document.
Pressing D a third time has no effect, because the Append Selection to Document submenu opens expecting a further accelerator key from among its choices (of which there are none).
