Dunno if this is actually a bug or an intentional omission, but the formatting bar at the top (where fonts and alignment are changed) doesn’t have a button for inserting lists. This function is only accessible via the Format menu. Putting it on the bar would be much more convenient and in congruence with most text editing UI out there.
I will add this to the fix list. Thank you for the feedback.
