More intuitive behaviour when finding text in fullscreen mod

This is a very slight quibble I have with an otherwise excellent application. In fullscreen mode, searching for text, when I’m finished searching, I always hit the Escape key, thinking it will dismiss the find dialogue. Actually, this exits fullscreen mode. The correct method of dismissing the find dialogue (cmd-w) seems very counter-intuitive, because cmd-w means, in my mind at least, ‘close the currently working document’, not ‘close the peripheral dialogue I’m using to work on the document’. Closing the document is what it does if the find dialogue is not open.

Does anyone else think Escape would be a better way of getting rid of the find dialogue, or is it just me? I know the right way of doing it, but I keep on hitting Escape anyway without thinking - it seems so natural.

I hope I’ve put this in the right forum. It’s a bit small to be a feature request, but it’s not a bug either. I’m a developer myself, and it irritates me when people report non-bugs as bugs, so I’ve opted for this one.

Escape behaviour in full screen has been improved for version 2.0, so this will no longer be an issue.
Thanks,
Keith
