Move paragraph up crashes Scrivener

[WINDOWS VERSION]

Moving paragraphs up or down Scrivener crashes. (I am currently doing so using the shortcuts. Ctrl-Alt-Up/Down arrows.) [Crash using the menu too]

I am getting more and more of this across different projects.
Anyone else?

[⮟⮟ Investigation ⮟⮟]

Crash occurs when the paragraph is the very last one of a document – moving it up. (And moving it down when there is nothing after it spawns new empty paragraphs – I had never noticed this before – and ads an extra empty paragraph after it, too.)

Moving my “111111” paragraph down :

(It’s not so bad, now that I know what not to do.)

I haven’t been seeing a crash happen, but I do see a common case (though it doesn’t seem to always happen) where the last character on the last line gets deleted (replaced by a newline maybe?). So for example, this is straight into a blank project with the two words typed in, default software settings:

one¶
two

Becomes:

tw¶
one¶

Ideally we would want to see:

two¶
one

The other problem, of moving a line indefinitely downward, I can easily see. I’ll get both of these reported, and make note that the first behaviour can cause a crash under unknown circumstances.

(I did try changing formatting defaults to paragraph spacing, as per your screenshot, but that didn’t make a difference.)

With indents, perhaps?
