Moving the compose mode toolbar

Hi… apologies if this is another silly newbie question:

I love composition mode, but unless I’m very accurate the toolbar often clashes with the Mac OS dock at the foot of my screen (the space that opens the toolbar but not the dock is quite small and I often overshoot).

It’s a tiny niggle really, but as everything else in Scrivener seems incredibly flexible, I wondered if there’s an option I’m missing to – for example – move the compose toolbar to the lefthand edge?

I can’t say if the composition toolbar can be moved (I would doubt it), but you can move your dock. I have it on the right for precisely the reason you give, not only for Scrivener but other apps for which I need to access the status bar at the window bottom.

Thanks Mark. I’ve considered it, but I’m keen to keep my main Mac dock where it is if I can!

I understand that. Mine is permanently on the right, but hidden. Mind you, I run a minimal dock; apart from Finder and Trash, the only apps that are shown are those which I currently have open (I open apps using Spotlight).
