When typing someimtes it will seem as if a letter key has gotten stuck and it will add the same letter into a word multiple times “issssssssssssssss” for is. This happens often and does alyways happen on the same letter. When the backspace is pressed to remove the extra letters it will someimetes delete many more than are intended as if it too has gotten stuck.
This behavior does not occur in other applications on the machine and I have yet to discover any consistent trigger for it.
Offhand, that sounds like the keyboard is getting crochety… I’ve never had a program doing that. You might try blowing out the keyboard with canned air, especially the “s” and “backspace” keys, and see if that helps.
