In beta 23 on Windows.
Go to Find (Ctrl-F), find a word. Now it is highlighted in your text in red. If you move your cursor over the text window it changes to being highlighted in blue, but you can’t just start typing then to replace the word with something else. If you click to regain focus in the text window, then you lose the selection. Doh!
Hi CSteele,
This is due to the Find window keeping focus in Windows. You can click elsewhere in the main Scrivener window (such as any blank area on the toolbar) to return focus to the editor, at which point you can edit the word without losing the selection. Using Alt-Tab can also return focus to the main editor in this way.
Hope this helps!
