[NB] [Suggestion] Auto-generated Index card text doesn't appear as a Synopsis in Outliner view mode

No idea if this is a bug or just something I should be posting under Wish List.

I’m messing around with the Scriv 3 Windows Beta, and I noticed a nifty new feature: the “Auto Generate” button on Index Cards has gone; instead if you don’t manually fill in an index card, it’ll be automatically filled by italicized text from the corresponding document, with no need to click a button… but I’ve also noticed that this automatically-generated text doesn’t show up as Synopsis text in the Outliner view mode.

If this isn’t a bug and is, instead, not a feature of Scriv 3, I humbly suggest it as a feature and will mosey on over to the Wish List forum.

This isn’t fully implemented yet, but the final behaviour will be that the auto-generated text appears in the outliner when a document has no title or synopsis. You should find it allows for a lot of flexibility in creating hierarchical outlines with a mix of titles, synopses, and auto-text for different items.

Awesome!  Thanks for the info.
