New computer but keeping Scrivener on both

I have bought a new Mac book air to use as my second computer. How do I share my license with the second computer?

Many of the posts and answers are a little old (years), are the answers and linkt still valid I wonder?

What happened when you entered the license information on the second computer? If it failed, what was the error message? Should work.

I didn’t know how to find it, and reading in the forum it seemed like one couldn’t find it anywhere for security reasons? Or is it on a receipt maybe?

Oh. That’s a different problem. I now understand the problem is you do not know your license information for your purchased copy of Scrivener.
