new-line removed in multi-line list item

It’s easier to describe the issue with snapshots:

This is how it looks like while I’m editing.

And this is after the project closed and reopen.
Note that the new-line code before the yellowed marked expression was mysteriously removed.

(The yellow mark is for helping spotting the issue; it’s not the cause)

Is it repeatable? That is, if you put the new line back, does it disappear again?

I don’t see a reason why the new line you indicate would behave any differently from the one before the equation in the first list item.

Yes, it’s repeatable, in this specific case. It happens frequently but not always (I means most list items spanning multiple lines have same issue, but, strangely, a few works normally).

By the way, Apple Notes has similar problem.
