New Lit&Lat writing app - requirements

I know it’s early days, but I’m MASSIVELY excited by the new app.
But, I have a very old (but very reliable) iMac, and I’m wondering (hoping) it’ll be able to run the new app when it finally comes.

My Mac is:
iMac (27-inch, Mid 2011)
Processor: 2.7 GHz Intel Core i5
Memory: 16 GB 1333 MHz DDR3
Graphics: AMD Radeon HD 6770M 512 MB
Operating system: macOS High Sierra, version 10.13.6

I know my iMac’s ancient, but it runs Scrivener fine, and as the new App is a more minimalist offering, surely I’ll still be able to run it?

Can anyone reassure me?

ADD: If you feel adventurous, there’s of course the OCLP route to get macOS 14. At this point High Sierra got no security updates for more than three years, that’s quite risky with Internet access anyways.

The new program requires macOS Sonoma to run, so unless your machine is capable of upgrading to the current macOS, this scenario won’t work out, unfortunately.
