Hey, Tanya. The books will be roughly 24 chapters… sometimes a few less, sometimes a few more – I won’t know until the day before the event, so the “24 +6” (or “24 + 8” now) is just a rough guide to how many versions of the book we’re expecting. If no-one else was to sign up, we’d run two versions of the book. Some participants’ chapters would be in both versions in that case.
Thanks for the clarification! I wasn’t sure if you needed the exact number of people per chapters or not.
I hear you! I haven’t written much fiction the past year and it’s been ages since I had a writing deadline, so I figure there’s no better motivator than good old-fashioned pressure to get my butt into gear.

While it’s certainly true that I could not have picked a worse time to run the event based on my real life (and I find it hard to believe that I’ll have similar circumstances again) I think I might actually mean it this time.
