I am NOT getting a page break when compiling using the default section format that specifies a page break before the title. I’m exporting to the most current Word using the most up-to-date Scrivener.
I’ve also tried using a Compile format that simply specifies to follow the formatting in the Editor: and yet, where there are page breaks in the Editor, they do not show up in Compile. I’m also on a Mac
on windows but look at section type to make sure it is correct and check to see if checked box for using default separators in separator panel on compile format designer.
Why are you using page breaks in the Editor? If you’re creating blank pages, for instance, the Compiler will strip those out.
Are you defining page breaks via the Section Layouts in the Compile command, putting them in the body text, or both?
