Hi Brainstrust, I saw an old post same title as mine and thought great, but my problem is slightly different.
I follow the instructions get to projects- project settings- special folders but my drop down menu says “no templates folder” and when I hit the dropdown arrows there is no ‘templates folder’ button to change this. Can I add ‘templates folder’ button to the project, as I am trying to make a template doc but can’t.
You need a folder in existence to set as your template folder. Create Template Folder inside the Research folder. Now go back to project settings and select this folder as your template folder and it becomes the template folder. Not sure why this is not included as a default?
Hi Goaliedad thanks for the response. Sorry I wasn’t very clear. I had made a template folder and a document inside it, but when I go to project settings, special folders, the drop down menu does not have a tab that allows me the create/ save this. There is only a bit that says no templates for the this doc, when I click on the drop down arrows there is no template tab inside for me to select to finish creating my template folder.
