One could say that about everything I do.
But in this particular case it is absolutely true. Why ruin the anxiety and stress of NiaD by making it easy?

I’m doing this. I haven’t read the original. I like the not knowing. It’s how I like to live life too.
PIGGY!!! Why is my rum missing?
WHERES MY RUMMMM!?!?!?
Mine was in the trash and labeled as spam! So check for that.
Given that I’m hoping y’all wont have as many questions this time (or indeed will be more comfortable asking and answering questions here in the forum as a group) I have opened a beer for my first NiaD with a drink experience.
Oh… ‘NiaD with a drink experience.’ You could sell that concept to Disney.
I once got refused entry to Disneyland Paris because you’re not allowed alcohol in the Magic Kingdom, and I had a suitcase with me with 12 bottles of wine in it. I’m very pleased to say I managed to convince them to let me and my wine in.
What!? They searched your suitcase… or were you clinking as you walked?
Suit case wine, nice!
How does one not clink with a dozen bottles of merlot in a suitcase?
Just got my briefing pack (it was indeed in the spam folder), and I didn’t want any bias in my writing, so didn’t read the 2011 version. Super excited!!
Dude, was that your rum?! I soaked my socks with that. At your suggestion, I might add.
I soaked mine as well. My feet have never been so happy.
Good Sir Piggy, I figured out what the vehicle that takes away bodies is called. Well, not really called, but I found a close enough vague answer.
So you can ignore that particular email.
ANYONE else, I’m happy to hear the answer if you know the proper term. Knackerman is all that comes to mind.
It made a lot of noise when they picked it up to put on the machine they use to scan bags.
Are you thinking of a hearse? Or coroner’s van? (Maybe something more technical!)
how do I refer to the characters
example Dr Lisa Warne or Dr Warne or Lisa ?
Ditto DS Scott or first name ?
I guess it’ll depend on who is talking to them / the POV character (and your interpretation of those characters).
I’d be surprised if his wife called him DS Scott. Although this is set in Cambridgeshire, so who knows!
I think Lisa and Nick would use first names to each other by this stage in the story but it doesn’t feel right for me to call them that as I don’t know them very well.
I feel like I could say Nick did such and such, but a doctor should be Dr Warne ?
ill just go with whats natural and then can change it up later
