We’re like 4 hours in, with a good 16 hours to go for the preferred deadline. Plenty of time for procrastination yet.
That said, I’ve got past the blank stage and am in the process of guiding [censored] through the process of [access to this information is restricted to users above your authority].
I am around 700 words in, so half way to the minimum.

Yeah. I’m keeping pace, I think. I’m reading page two of my packet. Found a pair of spare specs so I can actually read it now. Formulating a plan, I think.

Haha! I have just done that. I’ve imported the image files into the Research folder, split the content of the PDF into its consitutent document chunks, created a sort of miniature binder structure from my chapter brief, added document notes and project notes, and in some cases even meta-data. My espresso-serf is fast asleep in bed, and I’m going to have to start writing soon…

Well, 488 down, and the main action yet to commence. I’m debating if I really have time enough to sleep, wake up, de-groggify myself, write the second scene of my chapter, polish and get it all done in 13 hours. I kind of wish this all started in the morning for me.
Maybe I should get a snack and boil a big thermos of tea. Or mix myself some more Rum and Coke. Decisions, decisions…
Just passed the 750 word milestone, covering the whole homework included on my brief. Now for a short rest, and then to think what can I add of my own. 
1st draft: 1688 words. Now to let it marinate while I get some shut-eye. See you all in a few hours.
