Now that DropBox is charging like a wounded bull to sync multiple devices, will you do your struggling authors a favour and support other syncing platforms

Please support Apple iCloud Sync natively (personal preference) but Google Drive, Microsoft OneDrive are high on the list of wants/needs.

I thought Dropbox has charged for years to sync more than 3 devices; this isn’t a new thing they’re doing.

It’s important that you indicate your platform and version of the OS and Scrivener, so readers have context.

Please note that Google Drive has known issues with Scrivener projects, which cannot be fixed from our side without changing the project format.

I mean, of all the platforms to support, why those? None of them are really any that good! Saying they are better than Dropbox is a stretch, but not a terribly interesting one at that. Why get caught up comparing the worst options among each other? It’s like demanding your cafeteria support Wendy’s instead of McDonalds hamburgers. Both are barely even food.

Not only that, but there is a lot of confusion over what that means. Using Scrivener’s Dropbox integration in the iOS version doesn’t actually count as a device.

I think a L&L employee recently clarified the sync services matter here—see link—in a way that may be good news for you. Someone correct me if I’m wrong. (This being said, I think @AmberV’s response that Scrivener syncing doesn’t +1 your device count is the best answer.) https://www.reddit.com/r/scrivener/comments/1jc2tij/comment/mi0j8lr/
