ODT is not only an Open Office file type

Hello,

In the Export dialog box, among other file formats, ODT is listed as “Open Office” file format.

However, this is not correct, it should be “OpenDocument Text”. ODT is used as main file format in many software, like LibreOffice and Calligra also.

Thanks in advance.

Best regards

That’s a fair enough point, though part of the reason for putting those word processors in parentheses, the main reason I should say, is to help people out who aren’t as familiar with the extensions. Having “Word Compatible” after RTF, for instance, helps people out who may have extensions turned off and never pay attention to them. So by saying “OpenOffice”, even if that isn’t strictly accurate, it’s the most well known software package that uses it. I’ll see what Keith thinks about it though.
