Using latest Scrivener on 2017 27" iMac with latest Ventura. Just bought new iPadAir M2. Tutorial on how to sync MacOS document via Dropbox seems out of date. Can anyone summarize how I can open and work on Scrivener documents from my iMac on my new iPad? I have DropBox on both, my original Scrivener documents are in a folder in Dropbox. Thanks. Bennett
The tutorial information should be current. What specifically is happening?
I follow the tutorial to the point where it says to open the Scrivener file on the ipad after hitting the sync button, but that’s the whole point-- when I try, I’m told I can’t view the file on iOS, I have to go back to my desktop. IS there a way to see and work on my desktop Scrivener files within Scrivener for my iPad?
What specifically did you put in the Dropbox folder on the desktop? If iOS Scrivener is refusing to open it, that suggests you’re trying to use an external folder or a Zipped backup, neither of which will work.
