Page layout on iPad

On MacOs using my computer I have set so I have a page layout so I can se total amount of pages in each chapter. But when syncing with my iPad it doesn’t follow the same way. I have searched in the iPad settings after a way to change this but can’t find this.
Is this possible?

Many thanks for your help!

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but no, there is no page view on iOS Scrivener. :frowning: The best you can do is set up a compile appearance that approximates your Mac setup and run a compile.

Thank you very much for your reply!
That’s bad news indeed. Very strange that you can’t have that option.

How do I set up a compile appearance that approximates your Mac setup and run a compile?

Many thanks for your help!

For how to compile in general, see the Tutorial project, in the Exporting and Printing document. It will introduce the concept of “Appearances” which are the closest iOS equivalent to Compile formats in Mac Scrivener.

First, I suggest doing the learning exercises in the Tutorial. After that, I’d suggest trying the built-in Appearances on your project one by one to see if any gives you the preview you’d like. If not, duplicate the one that comes closest and edit it. To find all the possible Appearance commands, first start editing an appearance. You’ll see a little question mark icon in the top left corner. Tap it, and you’ll see a help file with all the possible appearance commands.

Note that the paper sizes available in iOS Scrivener are limited. As far as I know there’s no way to add a custom paper size.

Thank you very much for taking the time!
