Page size with page breaks while writing

Hi, I’ve downloaded the trial version of Scrivener with intent to purchase it as soon as I get the hang of it as I’ve heard nothing but good reviews about the product. However, one of the things a like to do when I’m writing is to set up my page size and font. I’ve checked a dozen videos and had a scroll through the forum but can’t find a direct answer.

How do I set up a page size so I can write while knowing how it looks on the page? For example. I want to see that my page is 5.06" x 7.81" while I’m writing with page breaks (similar to Word, I guess). I don’t want to have to wait until I’m finished and then compile. Is this possible?

Thanks for any info! Hope you’re all well!

Page size: File -> Page Setup.

Page breaks: View -> Text Editing -> Show Page View.

If you haven’t already, I’d recommend taking a look at our Interactive Tutorial, available from the Help menu. It’s a good overview of fundamental operations like editing and formatting.
