Pagination

As the title suggests, is it possible to paginate a document before exporting?

Also, right now I’m getting an # between Scrivener text documents that have been merged into one long outputted RTF file. How do I get rid of them?

Or are both the above going to be done in an external word processor?

Thanks!

There is no real pagination, since Scrivener is intended to be a drafting tool and not a publishing tool, however you can get a pretty good idea of how many pages the print will be by using Project Statistics (Cmd-Opt-Shift-S). You can set various options for how pages are estimated in this panel.

As for scene breaks (#), you’ll want to take a look at the “Text Options” tab in the exporter. The top left section has options for how sections are separated if at all.

Thank you very much, Amber. This app looks like it might work for me versus the traditional way of using Word for writing and the Finder for organising.
