I am new to Scrivener, and am looking to use placeholders to refer to two figures/equations. I have done some searching and reading but can’t find what I’ve done incorrectly. The placeholders are compiled as plain text. I have noticed that when I don’t add an identifier (:identifier), the numbering works as expected. But this won’t allow the use of multiple numbering fields.
I display the Text and Compiled Text below.
Text
Since the effect to angle scales differently with zero-error and wavelength, both of these parameters can be refined simultaneously (Equations <$n:eq:zero> and <$n:eq:wave>). They are not correlated.
Equation <$n:eq:zero>
Equation <$n:eq:wave>
<$n>
