I’d like to have a preference toggle for plain text notes.
I use 16 pt Latin Modern Roman as my writing text, and 12 pt Reference Speciality as my notes font. Often I want to just drag a section of body text into the notes pane for later reference, but when I do, the notes pane’s RTF editor preserves it in body text format. (as per attachment)
Alternatively, I might have a note that I want to drag out into the body text, but it appears on the page in its 12-point form. I can use paste-and-match-style, and do, but in many cases it’s not as fluid as dragging.
I can understand that some users would prefer to have RTF notes. Me, I’d appreciate a toggle to make the notes pane plain text only, or perhaps enforce the style set in Prefs to affect any text dragged into the pane. Don’t know if that’s even possible, but this is called the Wish List.
